Nicholas's first trip

What a better place to take a newborn baby to than Paris? I'm just kidding. It was really Las Vegas :) We celebrated a few different events during this trip: Nicholas's first trip, my mom's 60th birthday, Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, and President's Day. Wow, that's a lot of holidays at once!We stayed at MGM Grand and it was a great place: close to everything and really GRAND. Alex loved it!
We did all the touristy things that you might expect to do in Vegas. Alex really wanted to rent this car but we told him that he can do it when he turns 16. All of us just simply wouldn't fit in this tiny car :)
Paris was beautiful as always. Nothing beats Paris pastries and we found ourselves coming back for more.
On one of our walks we met a little lizard- Little Vegas. He was friendly and had very sharp nails- just ask Dave's head.
Nicholas did great on this trip: he slept in his stroller during our long walks, woke up to eat, and fell right back asleep on most occasions. He also enjoyed watching Olympics when we were at the hotel room.

Bellagio never fails to impress us with its beautiful gardens, breathtaking dancing fountains, and overall beauty that can only be found in high end establishments. One day we will actually stay there :)
This is the year of Tiger. What I loved best about being in Vegas during Chinese New Year was all the pretty chinese lanterns and flowers everywhere. O, and the lunch at an authentic Cantonese restaurant. I loved the food! I have to say that Vegas has excellent food, you just have to know where to eat :)))
For Valentine's Day Dave and I had a date at Bobby Flay's restaurant called Mesa Grill. The food was AMAZING! We still talk about it. Talk about high quality ingredients! Makes all the difference...
We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday at The House of Blues. It was great. The only problem was that Nicholas was crying and we had to take turns walking him in a stroller around the casino while the others were eating. Newborn babies call for compromises, but it didn't spoil our trip. The Venetian... What can I say? It's beautiful! We followed our tradition of eating in the same Italian restaurant inside the Venetian- DELICIOUS! Too bad I don't remember the name of it, hmmmm...
Our last morning in Vegas I woke up to the following scene. How sweet! Nicholas was so comfy cozied up next to Papa :)
Rainforest Cafe. You've got to eat breakfast there! Yummy and entertaining. Every 20 min they have lightning and thunder storm. You can tell that Alex loved it very much :)

On our way home Nicholas slept for most of the time. When he finally woke p, his face was priceless, just see the photo. WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?????
Happy 60th birthday, Babulya!!!!!!! Hope you had a great trip!
