First, Alex's mama graduated from the U once again with her Master's.

And we celebrated by going to Bangkok Thai with some friends (they had 2 for $20 at a time, 3 course meal, a great deal!)
Then we had a picnic in the Cottonwood Canyon with our good friends and Alex got to play with his friend Ava.

Alex's friend Alina came from Russia to visit for a few weeks.
They had a great time, as you can tell :)
Shortly after, Alex graduated from his preschool! It was such a great day! Papa took us all to McDonald's (Alex's choice) to celebrate :)

Alex even got his graduation certificate from his teacher Miss Angie.
Alex, Mama, Papa, Miss Angie, and Miss Stephanie.
One day we realized that Alex can read "Green Eggs and Ham" all by himself!
Then he had to pose in Mama's graduating gown :)
Isn't he so cute? :)))
We completed our backyard (nearly) and bought a stand-alone fire pit. We've been using it a couple times a week ever since (when it's not too hot)!
Mama got herself some really high healed shoes and Alex had to try them on. I'm surprised he was able to keep his balance... I sure struggle with it :)
The month of June we were living in "Seattle", well, not really, but it sure felt like it with all the rain we got! Alex helped Papa to pump the water out of our garage...

Then the sunny days came and... we had more water in front of our garage, but this time it was thanks to Alex :)
Papa ran his first ever 5K and did very well. Mama and Alex went there to support him (despite the early hour it was held on a Saturday).
It was actually a very fun morning and Alex even got a cool balloon from the Santa Claus (I wish I had a picture of him..)
Then it was Alex's BIRTHDAY and he turned 5 years old!!! Toys R Us helped us celebrate :)

Alex got a cool Jeep for his birthday that he now rides almost every day.
He got really good at riding it, now I'm not even afraid of him turning 16 any more (well, almost..)
Papa enrolled Alex in T-ball this summer.

I'm proud to say that Alex was one of the best on his team (genes must have played a role in that) :)))
Then the birthday PARTY day came!!!
The kids had a lot of fun. There were presents.
Nana and Pa's present- a cool soccer outfit that says Hungary on the back. Alex LOVES this outfit!

There was a slip-n-slide where most of the kids had a lot of fun.
And, of course, there was a cake! The theme of the party was "firemen".
This is 4 months of our lives in a nut shell. Alex has had a busy summer so far. He also takes swimming lessons and will start soccer in August. Another big event coming up is Alex starting kindergarten this year! I can't believe how grown up my little boy is now!
Keep tuned in, more fun and excitement coming up from the Gudgell household very soon :)))
